What is a Building Energy Rating Certificate (BER Cert)?
The Building Energy Rating Certificate (BER Cert) is part of the Energy Performance of Buildings EU Directive. The aim of the Directive is to make the energy performance of a building transparent and available to potential purchasers or tenants.
A Building Energy Rating (BER) is simply a survey to investigate building fabric and building services that are incorporated within your house and in turn to see how good it is at using energy.
